Camille's Chatter --- My First Training Run

Today was my first official training run... 

My human said "let's get ready and go run, Camille. It's time for your training run!"

We went to the big dam bridge for my first session...

We started out slow - running one minute then walking 5 minutes...repeating it five times.

I think my human was very proud of me.  She told me to stay with her --- I did!  She talked to me a lot telling me I was a "good girl."  

My human loves to take my picture! 

There were a lot of humans running and riding bikes today...

There were other dogs running, too.  I wanted to stop and sniff and smell them, but my human told me to stay with her --- I did! 

 

Then, back at the vehicle, I had treats and water! 

Back home - ready for a nice long nap!

My, oh my what a wonderful day!

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay...

I'm in a chippery mood today - How about you? Doesn't that little tune put you in a chippery mood, too?   

A morning walk in my very own park...

Then, it was time to run errands with my human.

And, an afternoon jaunt at the big dam bridge checking out the people, dogs, and the river, too...

The wind was blowing my hair...

 

Big yawn --- I'm exhausted, sleepy, and ready to go home!

Zip-a-dee-do-dah, zip-a-dee-ay, my, oh my what a BUSY day.

Camille's Chatter - Ms. Gina

Hi, I'm Camille

My human and I stopped in to visit with Gina. 

She owns and operates Gina's Pet Salon on Kavanaugh in Hillcrest.   My human and Gina have been friends for over 15 years. Now, that's a long time.   She used to take a previous pet to visit Gina every Saturday. I sure hope I don't have to go get brushed every Saturday. 

Gina said I have a very pretty coat of hair.

Gina's Pet Salon is big and very pretty.  She said I should come every four to six weeks.  Afterall, a gal has gotta look good. 

Gina was very helpful in my moving to Little Rock. You see, my foster home called Gina to ask if this would be a good place for me. Ms Gina told them I couldn't find a better place than here with my human! 

I made an appointment for next Saturday

Camille's Chatter - A Nice Walk in the Park

My human and I took a long walk in the park today! WOW! All I have to do is walk to the end of my street - cross over another street and there's my very own park.  I've never seen a park like this before.   

Practicing my STOP / WAIT!  My human said to stop and wait - so, I did!  Then, she told me to WALK!  Yay, I did just what she asked me to do!  She sang songs to me while we walked, too!

Whew, I made it up that hill!

Just look at how wonderfully I did that!

I would love to chase that squirrel!

Come on, Let's go!

I stop to check out the ball field.  It looks pretty nice, but had a little mud on the field today.  My human didn't let me off the leash though. 

Next, I checked out the bleachers.  My human said that's where we would sit to watch the children play.  We can come watch them play ball this Spring when the weather is nice.

We made it home and I'm very tired - Ready for a long nap!
