Camille's Chatter - It's Easter Saturday - But, I'm no Bunny Rabbit!

Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~~~~
My human and I head out for our usual morning walk in my park!  Whoa.....look at all of these cars.  There are cars parked everywhere - even on my very own street - a few blocks down from the park entrance.
It's Easter weekend and apparently there's an Easter egg hunt for children at the park today.  "Do you want to wear your Easter bow to the park today," says my human!
Oh! Wow! It's my very own Easter bow / collar
Are you kidding me?
Is it big enough?
Do I really need to wear this?
I love you, human; but, I don't love this bow around my neck.  It's a very pretty bow and I know you made it for me with love.  But, give me a break, please!  I really don't want to wear this today!
Actually, I dislike it A LOT!
Notice the look in my eyes!
OK, If it makes you happy!
I'll attempt to like it long enough for a picture.
Did you get the picture?
 I'm ready to take this off, please!
Let's go to the park now.
A lot of people at the pavilion today.
 Oh, yes, it's the Easter egg hunt!  It's Easter weekend and the children are hunting Easter eggs at the park.
I think the children found ME instead of the Easter eggs.
 Let's go home  -  the children have loved on me enough.   Besides, I've pooped and you picked up after me --- and that man said they saw a snake slither across the road.
Afterall, I'm no Easter bunny rabbit. I don't hippity hop! I'm a standard poodle.
Thank you, human, for not making me wear the bow.  By the way, I think these pink azaleas in my front yard are very pretty!
Happy Easter,
Camille
Camille's Chatter - It's A GOOD Good Friday
Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~
"It's Good Friday - let's do something a little different." says my human.   "Let's drive out and walk the western loop of the Two Rivers Park close to Pinnacle Mountain!"  Seems she read about it in the newspaper (Happy Trails) and thinks we need to check it out!!!

My human tells me there's supposedly open fields - might see a deer - with scenic views of Pinnacle Mountain and the Little Maumelle River!
Here we are!!!
The western loop is 2.75 miles - flat paved trail - country like setting.  Great for walkers, bikers, joggers, etc. (so they say!)
I like it - no cars!    It's peaceful and calm.  A beautiful day!
Little Maumelle River in the background of this pic

We stop at this little area where you can sit on a bench and enjoy the Little Maumelle River!  Hmmmm, what's to enjoy?  I can't get in it and swim!
Ok, breaks over - let's go!
We met a couple nice looking doggies - they were kerry blue terriers.  We stopped and chatted.  One gal is 12 years old and she wanted to go home.  The other guy is 9 years old.  They were pretty four legged pals ---- not as pretty as me, though!  Well, that's what my human said, anyway!
Oh wait, what's that?
Can I go play with them?
No, I can't play with the geese!
Oh well, there are a lot of these at the big dam bridge.  I didn't see any deer.  Shhh, I knew there wouldn't be any deer.  LOL!

It's time to go home!  I need a drink of water.  Sure hope my human brought my water, too!  She has her bottle of water in her hand.  Yes, she did!  Yay, Yay, Yay!   See how much she loves me!

The loop was a nice walk for something different, but, I think I like my big dam bridge paved trails better.  My human and I are not keen to dealing with this traffic driving ALLLLLLLL the way out here, just to walk a paved trail.  I have fantastic paved trails close to my forever home!

Sticking close to home,
Camille

Camille's Chatter - Allsopp Promenade in Hillcrest

CAMILLE'S POODLE DOODLE CHATTERBOX BLOG
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~
My human and I took a walk today  - we started out with our usual stroll to my very own park --- that would be Allsopp Park.  I'm very comfortable in my park these days.  I know the best places... I know the best place to go number one.  I know the best place to go number two.  I know the best place to find a tennis ball (tennis court) or softball (baseball field.)  I know where the "clean up after your dog" bags are located.  I even know where the dogs will be that run off leash (trails!)
I also know where the children will be playing (playground.)  I know they are going to pat me on the head, too!
I know where the bridges are - I know where the creek water runs and I know the biking and hiking trails.  It's a neat park for me.
We walked up to the top of the hill today, but instead of turning around, we kept walking.
There are cars everywhere!  Even though you can't see them in this picture - trust me - they were there.  I heard them - I saw them, too.   Where are we going?
We stop at Allsopp Promenade in the Historic Hillcrest neighborhood.   They have pretty park benches.   We stopped for a break and I watched the cars.  Of course, my human took pictures of me.  Here are a few of them...
Do you want me to smile or be serious?
I'LL WAIT HERE!
Huh, what did you say?
Okie Dokie - If you say so!
I'm ready to go home!
Camille's Chatter - A Girl's Gotta Look Good!
CAMILLE'S POODLE DOODLE CHATTERBOX BLOG
Hi, I'm Camille
Today was my salon appointment.    I'm sure you ladies understand.  I'm one of the lucky ones.  After all, I don't have to color my roots or get perms.  I just need a nice shampoo, hair cut,  blow dry and comb out.
Today was that day - my beautify me day.
My turn on Gina's styling table
Time for my haircut.  I've had my shampoo and blow dry.   Gina cuts my hair.
 Gina is the best!
Gina knows my personal hair style.
Home from the salon.
I'm ready to watch one of my favorite TV shows...
Watching "Too Cute." on Animal Planet.
 I feel good and I look good, too!
Oh no!  I'm not high maintenance - I'm just maintaining myself.  It's been a good day!
Woof! Woof!
CAMILLE'S CHATTER --- My First One Mile!
CAMILLE'S POODLE DOODLE CHATTERBOX BLOG
Hi, I'm Camille
My human and I run at the Big Dam Bridge.  I've been training a little over a month.   I ran my first full one mile straight this week - no walking break.
Here we are yesterday at the big dam bridge - it's a neat place!
Man oh man - I think I did great!    I can run really fast, if I want too!   But, my human doesn't run so fast. So, I pull up and run with her.  Shhhh, don't tell her I said that because she has no idea that I can run really really fast!  I don't want to make her feel inferior, ya know what I mean, right!
A snapshot after our run last week
We make a good team! "I'm pooped"
We had a great run.  My human is so proud of me, too! She talks to me while we run.  She tells me I am a "good girl" and  to "run" - So,  I do. I'm proud of me, too.
"Look at all that water behind us;
I'm up too high to jump in!"
My human says I am the prettiest and bestest standard poodle in the whole wide world! Now, that's pretty darn good! I didn't tell her she shouldn't use the word bestest! We know what she means - she means I am the best big poodle in the whole wide world. I agree! I'm smart, too. :-)
Woof! Woof!
