Camille's Chatter - Let's go this way...

Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~
My human and I took a walk.  We saw a trail and decided to veer off and take a little hike.
It's a nice change to walk through nature instead of on pavement.  We walk up hills and down hills.  We walk through rocks and over rocks.
Wow!  Look!  What is this?
Wow - is there something inside?
Is this a place for dogs with no home?    I need to check this out -  get closer.
Arf! Arf!  Anyone home?
No!  no one is home!  They must be out searching for food in the trash.  That's sad - these guys do not have a home.  But, I do.  At least they have a warm place to hide from the elements.  I am not going to bother it.  Continue on...
We walk skinny paths on the side of a big hill and we walk wide paths in the middle of the hill. Working those leg muscles for sure!  I'm tired - let's go home.
I have a soft bed and am very grateful for my forever home.
I think I'll get in my nice cozy bed and nap after that hike.
Arf! Arf!
Camille's Chatter - Dr. Joan
~~Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog~~
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~

Today I met my veterinarian. Her name is Joan! Dr. J o a n  N a f e,  at H i l l c r e s t  A n i m a l  H o s p i t a l  on Kavanaugh.    She was very nice.  My humans adore her and she likes them a lot, too!
Dr. Joan with her doberman
 At first, I was a little nervous. There were a lot of smells in there. I think I could have found some playmates. Dr. Joan looked in my ears, listened to my heart, and checked my teeth. She thought I was a striking gal, too. No shots today, I've already had my shots. However, Dr. Joan made me a new medical tag for Little Rock instead of Texas.
I jumped in the vehicle all on my own today!  Yay ME!!!
  My human was sooooo proud and very surprised.  She opened the back of the vehicle and I jumped right in.  Until today, my human had been picking me up and putting me in the vehicle.    She didn't know I was going to jump in.  She didn't tell me to do it, I did it all on my own.  I haven't been cooperating - I was just scared, though. My human wasn't sure if I didn't know how to jump in or what!  But, I'm not scared anymore.   I know she is going to keep me.
Home from Dr. Joan's - ready to rest!

I can tell Dr. Joan likes me a lot.  She told my human she did good when she adopted me.  Dr. Joan asked for the name of the organization that found me my new home.  She wanted to recommend a friend contact them for a standard poodle just like me.  She said I was fantastic.

Along with my new human family, Dr. Joan and Ms. Gina (groomer) are my big fans and will take good care of me.

Woof! Woof! --- thanks for chatting today!

Camille's Chatter...A Little Road Trip

Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~~~
Where are we going?  Who?  Where?  Why?
We are going to G'brier to see my human's parents!
Must be a long trip - my favorite napping quilt, my favorite treats,  and my travel water bowl are all in here, too.
 Are we there yet?
Finally, we are here!    My human and I roam the big front yard and I check out the place.   I smell squirrels - many many squirrels, too!   What's that?
Chickens!   Oh, Hi, chic chic!!!  I've seen enough of these chickens, so let's move on...
 We go inside and at first I don't like it.  I know if I stay close to my human I'll be fine.  I can tell these people aren't used to dogs like me!  Oh, well, I guess they like me.   So, I plop down and wait while my human chats.
It's time to go home!
We took eggs home with us.  So, that's why they have chickens.
Tapley Lane eggs
My human says she loves Tapley Lane eggs!
Yay, we are HOME!  Home Sweet Home!  I get to walk in my park...
Watch TV
and then nap!
Woof, Woof,
Camille
Camille's Chatter - My Neighbors!
Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I met some of my neighbors. Let me tell ya, there are a lot of dogs on my street.

There are four dogs next door. The little rowdy guy is Bodie. He is a Jack Russell terrier! My humans do not like him very much. Bodie's human said he bites! Then, there's another little guy, Bear. He is a cute long haired mutt!    I don't know how old he is, but he's up there in age. Next, there are two big fellows. One is a handsome black dog and he's nice.   I think his name is ZuZu. The other big one is nice looking too - she's black and white, mostly white.  She is the agility dog and I don't recall her name.  Of course, my human says I'm prettier than any of them.  I was glad to meet them. It's nice to have neighbors and I think we will be friends.
In my yard
Next, there's a big guy at the back fence. His name is Pujols.   He is a big brown Labrador. He is named after his human's favorite baseball player, Albert Pujols. My humans like Pujols and his humans, too. I'm sure we will be friends.

Then, there's Cowboy. He lives two doors up from me. I haven't met him yet -  he is a very pretty Australian shepherd type. My human says he is nice and she really likes the humans that live there. Maybe one day when I'm out in the yard I will meet him.
This is my yard!
At the end of the street on the corner is a smaller guy. A terrier looking fellow. He lives with Erma. They walk our cul-da-sac. My humans like them a lot, but I haven't met them yet either. However, this little mutt gets angry when my human and I walk down the street.  He growls, barks, and runs the fence.

The house next to Erma has two dogs.  We just waive at the humans, but have never met the dogs.  They stand at the fence, and bark their heads off, as we walk down the street to the park.

Last, is Hancock who lives across the street in the front of my house. My humans do not say very nice things about him. His humans let him poop in peoples yard and run freely without a leash.  My humans do not like that one bit.   We often see him and his human at the big dam bridge and he is always off leash.  My human says that's against the law and not smart.  We also see them at our neighborhood park, and yes, his is off leash.  I met Hancock up close once but I didn't like him.  He stalked me and I gave him my mean look.  I snarled back at him.   He is handsome, though - but,  you know the saying...pretty is as pretty does. Hancock doesn't act pretty. It's not his fault. I think I'll just keep my nose out of it.  His humans do not have nice manners so that means he most likely doesn't either. I don't think we will be very good friends.

All in all, I like having so many nice neighbors.  I think we will be friends and I'm very glad to live here, too!

Woof, woof! Arf, Arf!

Camille's Chatter - I'm tagged

~~Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog~~
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~
I got new tags.  I like my new dog bone shaped purple tag.
My purple dog bone shaped tag
It has my name, address, and telephone number on it.  My human says if I get lost hopefully others will help me find my way back home.
My pink heart shaped tag.
I actually wear several tags now - purple, pink, and gold!  The pink heart shaped one has my human's name, etc. on it.  I guess since I bolted out the front door one day my human decided to double up on my tags.  The gold tag is my medical tag.  I must be very special to have so many pretty tags, huh!  Plus, I'm microchipped, too!
Wearing all my tags today!
You know, I didn't bolt out the front door to run away.  I thought my human was going out and I was going with her.  She didn't tell me what to do so I ran after her.  Then, I got scared and lost.  My human found me,  whew, I was so proud to see her.
I'm for sure tagged now!  Actually, I'm double tagged.  Well, I'm triple tagged.  OMGosh, I'm quadruple tagged!
Woof! Woof!
Camille's Chatter - My Sister...
~~CAMILLE'S POODLE DOODLE CHATTERBOX BLOG~~
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING!!! OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WEEK!!!

I met my human sister.  She is here visiting - she lives in Manhattan - that's in New York City!  I don't think I'd want to live there.  It's a very big city and I am a "little city" kind of gal.
 She has beautiful long blonde hair like silk.
She smells good - her soft silky hair tickled my nose.   She is very kind and tender hearted - I can tell by just sniffing her - I'm pretty smart.
 She smiles a lot, and I think she has the prettiest smile.
We take walks in the park...
She sits with me at nap time...
My human/s ran the LR Marathon 10K yesterday...I stayed home!  Hey, they wore matching outfits, too!
I got to wear her Little Rock Marathon 10K medal - I think I look good, too!
My humans after their 10K run - they're cold and wet!  I stayed home!  Oh, I already told you that, didn't I?

We had a snow day together...She said I'm prettier than the white snow!
We hang out in the study (TV room) together...
She wears pajama pants with poodles on them...
She scratches my back while we watch TV...
I love my human sister!

I'm going to miss her - she said she has to go back to the Big Apple!

hmmm...speaking of apples - I love apples - especially the apple pup- cakes my human makes for me.

Woof! woof!
