Camille's Poodle Doodle Chatterbox Blog
Hi, I'm Camille
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I met some of my neighbors. Let me tell ya, there are a lot of dogs on my street. There are four dogs next door. The little rowdy guy is Bodie. He is a Jack Russell terrier! My humans do not like him very much. Bodie's human said he bites! Then, there's another little guy, Bear. He is a cute long haired mutt! I don't know how old he is, but he's up there in age. Next, there are two big fellows. One is a handsome black dog and he's nice. I think his name is ZuZu. The other big one is nice looking too - she's black and white, mostly white. She is the agility dog and I don't recall her name. Of course, my human says I'm prettier than any of them. I was glad to meet them. It's nice to have neighbors and I think we will be friends.
In my yard
Next, there's a big guy at the back fence. His name is Pujols. He is a big brown Labrador. He is named after his human's favorite baseball player, Albert Pujols. My humans like Pujols and his humans, too. I'm sure we will be friends. Then, there's Cowboy. He lives two doors up from me. I haven't met him yet - he is a very pretty Australian shepherd type. My human says he is nice and she really likes the humans that live there. Maybe one day when I'm out in the yard I will meet him.
This is my yard!
At the end of the street on the corner is a smaller guy. A terrier looking fellow. He lives with Erma. They walk our cul-da-sac. My humans like them a lot, but I haven't met them yet either. However, this little mutt gets angry when my human and I walk down the street. He growls, barks, and runs the fence. The house next to Erma has two dogs. We just waive at the humans, but have never met the dogs. They stand at the fence, and bark their heads off, as we walk down the street to the park.
Last, is Hancock who lives across the street in the front of my house. My humans do not say very nice things about him. His humans let him poop in peoples yard and run freely without a leash. My humans do not like that one bit. We often see him and his human at the big dam bridge and he is always off leash. My human says that's against the law and not smart. We also see them at our neighborhood park, and yes, his is off leash. I met Hancock up close once but I didn't like him. He stalked me and I gave him my mean look. I snarled back at him. He is handsome, though - but, you know the saying...pretty is as pretty does. Hancock doesn't act pretty. It's not his fault. I think I'll just keep my nose out of it. His humans do not have nice manners so that means he most likely doesn't either. I don't think we will be very good friends.
All in all, I like having so many nice neighbors. I think we will be friends and I'm very glad to live here, too!
Woof, woof! Arf, Arf!
